Ablative lasers such as Er:YAG are traditionally used for skin regeneration. They allow to evaporate epidermis layer by layer without thermal heating of the surrounding tissues. There is a great demand for skin rejuvenation methods not requiring anaesthesia, with minimal downtime and not interfering with patients’ professional, social and personal obligations.

Now LILINE offers a technology permitting to achieve a cosmetic effect comparable and even better than traditional ablative methods as it is painless and with little downtime. How have we managed to achieve it?

We use a special system of microlenses splittinging the laser beam energy into microbeams. The number of these beams is up to 10000 for sq. cm of the skin. The energy of each beam is sufficient to create instantly a microchannel with diameter up to 50 micron. Only that part of the tissue (fraction) is exposed to laser emission, surrounding tissues remain absolutely intact and are not subject to the thermal effect.

The spots are so tiny that they are indistinguishable for man’s eyes. The treatment is quite painless. The human organism reacts strongly to such an exposure. In every centimeter of the skin there are several thousand nerve endings and all of them give the organism a signal to react. An accelerated skin regeneration process is launched. The treatment stimulates new collagen formation, gives a long lasting effect of facelift, pores constriction. And the most important thing - the treatment improves not only superficial rhytides, but also deep rhytides such as nasofacial folds.

One more advantage of this method in comparison to traditional ablative ones is the possibility to treat such sensitive areas as neck and hands.
