The name of the company is an abbreviation standing for "Laser Instruments New LINE". The company was founded in 1994 and established with the intention of being a scientific and research organization. Studying the mechanisms which influence the laser radiation impact on biological tissues became our main objective. Many thousand of tests have been conducted in the years since the company was established, laying a solid foundation for further scientific research conducted by LINLINE.
Currently, LINLINE is the world leader in the research and development of highly selective methods of impacting narrowly-targeted biological tissues, which is in very high demand by professionals of esthetic medicine all over the world. LINLINE holds several international patents, focused on securing unique methods of treatment.
The LINLINE product line meets the standards of the European Council Directive 93/42/EEC concerning medical devices and is, as such, certified. The management of the system in control of quality of development and manufacturing is secured with a certificate of ISO 13485:2003.
LINLINE today is a succesfully functioning consortium of companies with multinational representation. Our headquarters is located in Berlin, Germany. The field of the company’s activity can be summarized as “laser medicine”.

We succeeded in leaving traditional approaches to treatment far behind. We embraced being labeled as “narrow specialists” – physicists, optical gurus, and physicians-- and, as such, a common problem of insufficient competence in an enterprise demanding a multi-dimensional scientific approach was solved.
LINLINE managed to discover which specific limitations must be applied and what conditions must be met in order to impact different biological tissues with laser radiation to yield the necessary effect. It is to LINLINE`s credit that laser cosmetology acquired multifunctional specialists who are equally proficient in numerous fields of science.
Even the very first scientific research attempts, conducted in 1994-1998, unearthed an unpleasant reality that many laser technologies present in the medical marketplace, and, more disturbing, in the field of esthetic medicine, do not meet the standards of selectivity. Hence, implementation of those defective technologies led to frequent adverse effects, such as scarring and deviation from natural skin pigmentation. These adverse reactions are totally unacceptable in laser medicine.
We are developing a new field of medicine. We call it “selective photomedicine”. We developed methods which direct the laser impact exclusively to the biological target zone. When utilizing our methods, the healthy tissues of the human body are not overheated and, hence, not traumatized. Therefore, our technology reduces the risk of any adverse reaction to an absolute minimum.
We do not offer a miracle set of “medical hardware” to be used in laser cosmetological medicine. No! We offer a reliable means to achieve the necessary results to satisfy the patients` expectations and set goals. It would be enough for the operating doctor to choose a required procedure and the laser device will automatically set the optimal parameters of radiation. It is important that the preprogrammed sets of parameters have been repeatedly tested in practicing laser medicine.
We will continue our development and search for innovative techniques to be applied in the field of laser surgery.
